2026 Learning Community

In this unit, we will review all of the principles and practices we have learned throughout the course that can help us participate in community thriving in a way that appreciates what God is already doing and participates in the furtherance of his kingdom.

How do the principles of transformation and empowerment relate to one another, and how can our practice of them contribute to the resilience of ourselves and our communities?

This unit focuses on how the principles of incarnation and integration interact. How do we make connections between incarnation and integration in our own contexts?

This unit focuses on how the principles of spiritual formation and

community interact, how do we see that in our context, and how do they help spur one another on?

We are about communities owning the process of developing themselves to be all that God intends.

To increase our impact and reflect the Kingdom of God as we work with and minister to communities, we ourselves need to embody a community.

Acknowledging the integrated nature of life is essential to healthy ministry.

The purpose of this unit is to learn how to create a productive learning environment for adults.

How are we acting as people of peace in the communities we

are a part of? What can we learn from those we serve, and how can we grow as a result of being a part of their communities?

We are about reshaping how communities and future generations view life. We believe that lasting, visible transformation happens from the inside-out.

The heart of spiritual formation is being ever-maturing disciples of Jesus: growing in our understanding of God’s Kingdom and our role in it.

In this unit, we get an introduction to the course and frame the course content, meet the instructors, and begin exploring issues of justice and inequality.
